Stunning Looking New Salice Bike Eyewear Now Available

Just released to UK customers are the stylish, high performance new Salice 006 and 814 interchangeable models aimed specifically at professional and amateur cyclists.  The new models, starting at £59.95, are now available.

Just launched onto the UK market are the stylish new high performance Salice 006 and 814 two-lens interchangeable models.  Aimed at cyclists and triathletes they are now available from specialist sports eyewear online retailer, Sunglasses For Sport Ltd.

Four 006 and three 814 models are available.  The 006 comes with either a white or black frame made from grilamid, a shock and crash resistant material; it comes supplied with an antiglare, mirrored lens with hydrorepellent finish along with an interchangeable orange lens.  The frame and lens are both vented to help provide a swift and controlled air flow.  The silicone nose pads also prevent slipping.  The one-piece lens is easy to change and is made from shatterproof polycarbonate.  Both lenses are UV400 rated.  Two of the models feature special edition Italian flag graphics.  The 006 is supplied with a high quality hard case complete with cleaning cloth and compartment for the extra lens, with prices starting at £59.95.

The 814 models are also available with either a white or black frame.  This two lens interchangeable set is supplied with smoke and clear lenses with the CDM model having a rosso tint mirror finish.  The lenses are vented to help prevent misting and the silicone temples and nose pads stop slipping – as with the 006, the lenses are made from impact resistant, shatterproof polycarbonate and are UV400 rated.  The 814 is also supplied with a high quality hard case complete with cleaning cloth and compartments for the extra lenses – the price for all three 814 models is £59.95 each.

Salice are sponsoring the world number 20 ranked Acqua & Sapone team, featuring riders such as Stefano Garzelli, Luca Paolini and Andrea Masciarelli.  Garzelli is currently ranked number 19 in the world and recently won the 2010 Tirreno–Adriatico between Livorno and San Benedetto del Tronto.  He also took the grueling stage 16 of the Giro d’Italia, the Plan de Corones.
